Are you talking about the pull at Pella, Ia ? I am the Deutz Puller,I did not pout to anyone or will I ever! And as for your incorrect information....I won both 5500 and 6500 with the D60 and took 3rd and 4th with 72-06. Were you there?

What classes did you pull the 7206 in. I grew up driving and working on Deutz tractors in Florida since I was 16 in 1976. The oldest one I've been around is a 5005. Where do you find the real old ones and what year is the D60 and what engine is in it. We don't have anymore deutz tractors at work but have tons of Deutz powerunits

I pull the 72-06 from 5500-6500,it placed 3rd in the 5500 and 4th or 5th in the 6500(only 3rd placed)the D 60 got 1st in 5500 & 6500.
The D 60 was made from 1951 to 1962 it is a 4cyl,air cooled, indirect injected diesel,it has about 330 cubic inches,it is called a 4L514.Everyone in the US, thinks Deutz started in the late 60s and early 70s,but that is when the United States started importing them. They have been around since the late 1800s!!!!Canada sold Deutz through the co-ops to farmers since the early 50s, that is where I got mine.Check out the next issue of HOOK magazine, for the history of old KMD.Got any power units for sale?
Lots o Luck! Have fun and be happy!

Yes they did. They belong to a buddy of mine. I was just trying to pick at him. I dont guess he has been on here yet. Those Kraut burners as we call them really do pull good. We just like giving him a hard time. Y.D.
