what does a person mean by spinning ur tires on concrete etc. And does it matter what the spacing is on ur rear wheels

IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE TREAD GET A TIRE KNIFE,AND FORGET ALL THAT OTHER SILLY STUFF.IF YOU GOT A 2 FT PILE IN FRONT OF THE SKID YOU EITHER HAVE TOO MUCH TREAD OR TOO MUCH WHEEL SPEED.MY $.02 WORTH

Spin the tires in rev while the tractor is chained to something that wont move. This will remove rubber off of the back side of the lug. Do it long enough and you could get a nice pulling tire.

Really if you want a nice job on the tire mount them backwards and run the tractor in fowrward this way the front edge of the tire will not roll over (been there done that)

Same result. I actually saw a guy pull a mod like that. The track was terrible and if you got down in it you were done. The dirt would get piled 2ft. high in front of the skid. With those tires turned around he stayed right on top and didnt dig up all that dirt in front of the pan. He won by over 20 ft.
