The hitch was 3/16 to close to the axle center.
The wheels were 3/8 to wide.
These are legitamate reasons, and I understand if you change the rules for 1,soon there will be a 2nd and so on.But the wheels are metric and they were marked so,they had never been touched. And whos to say he was dead on the center of the axle, come on 3/16? While the crime lab was going over my old junk heap,Bill Bears' highly questioned IH,was setting to the side of the line with noone around. After the line of tractors had diminished,Bill arrived, mounted the questionable machine and entered the building, with no scrutinization whatsoever!! Several months later...I changed the wheels, and the hitch as directed.I called the Tech offical about a smaller tractor,to ask: what size wheels are 16.9/34 supposed to be mounted on?I told him who I was, and that I was the person with the oddball Deutz tractors. He stated,"well it doesn't matter about the wheel size, because you cant pull that tractor."I thought he was just joking, because of the previous circumstance, and we had left on a good terms. He stated,"that tractor is to new,you can't pull it."I asked how do you know that,I cant find any literature on it whatsoever? He stated "I dont know , but another guy does, I'll give you his phone number." I knew at that point there was no need in wasting a call.I have been told its from 57-63, I dont know,I can not get litereature, but I have pictures of tractors that look identicle to it with dates of 58, so who knows. They can't prove it isn't and I can't prove it is.So now you see my unweilding anger toward Bear, with his latest attemp to bend the rules with fabrications from himself and his suckass buddies!!!If he can pull I shoukd get to pull!No one says much, because like myself they love to pull, and there is no other place to pull in the winter, so they suffer through!I do have a 1952 Deutz with full documentation, even the original manual complete with dates.I have followed Natpa rules to the tee,all it lacks is the wheelie bars.It has been doing very well.It pulls 5500&6500,won both classes in Pella,Ia and Harrison,AR.
Lots of Luck, Be Happy

Ill put my education against yours anyday,or my tractor as far as that goes. Was 3rd grade your last completed , is that why it came to mind?
I can speak my mind on here the same as you...suckass!!I just want the same treatment for all.And apparently I am not the only one!!I pull all over the country, have a great time, and make lots of friends,I dont whine, cry or backup, but I do voice my opinion!!!!
I will not shut up and I would love for you to try and make me!!!Come to Mt Pleasant and introduce yourself,I would love to meet you!!!
As far as starting my,I believe you were trying to spell own(talk about my 3rd grade teacher you imbred buttfu**)program,I am the member of 4 different organizations, was a member of NATPA and will renew, now that I have a unrefusible, documented tractor. So get up off your knees, wipe your mouth and give Bill a kiss...now that your done!!!
Everybody, tell them what you think about NATPA and thier "click" situations, they cant keep you from pulling, voice your opinions!!!

Just talkin'trash,like everyone else.
I am glad you are starting to pull,I along with thousands of others cant get enough.I know how it feels the 1st time, you pull...you get blowed away, usually.DONT get discouraged!Ask pullers I along with many pullers dont mind helping new pullers,so ask about weight, tires and hitches.
Most people get mad, cuss the other individual out, next pull other guy wins and everything is ok.Matter of fact:Concerning my circumstance with Natpa and the tech official;I pulled against him 2 weeks ago for King of Hill in Iowa,he BEAT me,I went and congtatulated him,no problems.I have had very few problems with anyone,we have a saying around here,NO CRYBABIES!
But,I will stand up when something,if the situation is not equal of fair, that is all I want, not just for me...anybody!
There is a pull Sat,with our club im Mtn Home,Arkansas the 21st at 11:00,load the Farmall and come on.Mt.Pleasant is in Iowa the 28th.
Have a good day.Lots O Luck!

Krouthead, thanks for your reply, glad to see you cooled down. I can understand your love of pullin. I have only been to one years ago in Houston, Tx. I liked the reg. tractors but not the multi-engined ones. Mt. Pleasant, Tx. is about 50 miles from my home which is Greenville, Tx. about 50 miles east of Dallas. I plan to take my grand son June 21 to the pullin Stephenville, Tx. and on the 28th of June I plan to go with a friend to the one in Simmsburro, La. I want to meet a Mr. Hayne Mathews, he has a 53 SM like mine and I want to pick his brain, Hope to see you at a pull some day.
