I run in 3500# and make 3400# with me on it, I weigh 180#. I stripped the pto, the lift arms and cylinders to make it. I've went down as far as 3200# with my pressed steel rims and 16.9 tires and no fenders. If your going to stip it put all the weight on the back. I've pulled on power tracks and in that class very rarely does the front end come up. Your defeating the purpose of stripping it if you put all the weight on the front.

No problem. WD will go under 3500 easily, and a WC will get under 3000 with a little work.

No problem. I have mine right at 3500. I took off the hydraulic rams, and most of the 3pt hitch. I have a conversion kit, and actually left a lot of it on so I could utilize the drawbar. If I stripped it entirely, I could lose an additional 2-300 lbs. Make sure your tires are unloaded. I even still use the heavy POW rims, and make it. You could really underweight the 3500 class. Strip off the hyd pump, and entire PTO and snap coup, or 3 pt, and make a home made one. And also keep the gas tank low. :>)

At the last pull with my set-up I came in 5 pounds light. I need to take a little more off so I can weight up in the 3500.
