I have a question? Where were the Kenny's? They make for some pretty stiff competition. Alot of pullers measure their success by how well they finish compared to the Kenny Tractor Pullers!

Yeah that's true the Kenny's have been cheating the longest...too bad they had to outlaw the Farmalls in order to stay on top. Typical though they've always whined the loudest, I remember one incident down at Ionia where they had to start a fight to get their way. If that's the legacy you're talking about maybe you need to get all the facts.

Been pullin with them for over 20 years and seen all the facts, usually those who lose to them are doing the WHINING even though they have a lot more horsepower! You must be one of them!!!!

The PULL went very well! Had one tractor break away from the sled in 5000# class, I think it was a John Deere A. It was hooked up and runnin, till about 3/4 of the way down the track the hitch broke, I think it probably would have won the class.

They put the claps on the big horsepower tractors with the 3.4 mph speed limit, turned out to be a drivers pull instead of one with the most horsepower winning. Not as many tractors as last year but still quite a few tractors, and got done earlier this year.

At least I didn't waste my time going up there. I thought they had a 5 mph speed limit, 3.5 is even worse.

Good thing you didn't Go!!! Because at 3.4 MPH it's a drivers pull not who has the most Horsepower!!! It separates the MEN & WOMEN from the BOYS & GIRLS!!!! Anyone can dump the clutch on the big horsepower tractors and ride them out over the low horsepower tractors. Not to many can drive the low horsepower tractors around the big horsepower ones unless they actually know how to drive!!!

wish I was there...I didn't have a ride to get up there, so I skipped this one. Was it a clay track, or a sand trap? Thanks for the info.

It looked to be mostly gravel, with a little clay mixed in. It had some moisture so it was a fairly good track.
