I just thought it would be cool to see what the biggest motors ya'll have heard of that have been put in an M or Super M. I've heard of 500 cubes but wondered if it was possible.

Group -

I just worked on one that was 608 cubes. That's 5" X 7.75". Good power, but could have a lot more with a better cylinder head. It had a ported 450 Gas head (with big valves) on it.

Do not even bother to ask me who's it was! Confidentiality clauses prevent me from discussing further details. But just wanted you to know...

Regards,

Goldsburg

Just wondering if that 608 is still running water in the block, and how many rpms it's able to turn reliably?

I thought it was possible. Has anyone ever dyno'd one over 500 cubes? It has to have over 130 horses. Thanks for the comments.
