Jeremy, That's a good tractor, but if it's a weight transfer sled I'd use 3rd on the low side, and prepair early on to use or torque. My brother in law who uses a 966 with the fuel turned up and 414 cubes can only use 4th on the low side in torque possition in the 9000 pound class, and in the 10,000 pound has to go down into 3rd. I know he's hot, and with a bigger engine. If you watch the track careful, and it it's a sticky or power track, I'd probobly use second on the low side, shift up your torque amplifier, and then if you pull down yank the torque, and keep the thing moving, and take that sled right out the end. Just my thoughts on the matter, but good luck. by the way I'm not sure of the shipping weight of that thing, but If your tires arn't loaded I'd think you'd be well under 10,000

3rd low ,pull it in the 10'000 # class if you don't have cloride in the tires you should be very competitive in that class.

Take off with the torque back and as soon as the rpms come up throw it forward. Good luck!
