I HAVE'T PULLED WITH THE NATPA FOR A WHILE, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO I'VE BEAT IN THE NATPA, THATS OLD NEWS, I WOULD LIKE TO PULL NATPA AGAIN SOON, I KNOW THAT THE COMPETITION IS FIERCE IN THE NATPA, I PULLED WITH THEM MANY TIMES IN THE EARLY DAYS, LIKE DOWN IN HARTFORD KY, OR AT WILMINGTON OH. OR COLUMBIA MO. WHEN THE NATPA WAS BEING CRISTENED. I FOLLOWED THE NATPA TOUR FOR OVER A YEAR, I HAVE PULLED AGAINST ALL OF THE VETERENS IN THE LIGHT CLASSES, LIKE RITTENGER, TARBILS, BRICKNER, EMMRICK, GILMORE, ETC ETC ETC.. THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT BEAT WAS RITTENGER AT THE TIME. HE WAS STILL PULLING DIV 3 WITH THE SH HE PULLS NOW IN 4-5. LOOK AT THE HISTORY FROM THE PAST RESULTS, I'M IN THERE. I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE YOU GUYS UPSET, I KNOW THERE IS A LOT OF GREAT PULLING TEAMS OUT THERE, AND I RESPECT THEM ALL. THEY MAY NOT LIKE ME, BUT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN.

YEAH, I GUESS YOU DO KNOW ME. I HAVE DONE ALOT OF NEW THINGS TO MY TRACTOR OVER THE WINTER. DAD WILL PROBABLY BE SHAKING HANDS EVEN MORE, I DON'T KNOW. AIN'T GOT NO HAWGS THOUGH, JUST HORSES AND ANTIQUE TRACTORS. THESE GUYS REALLY HAD ME GOING. I AM SORRY THAT YOU THINK I'M SELF ABSORBED, I AM NOT ALL ABOUT TRACTORS, I LIKE THE PEOPLE I PULL WITH, THEY MAY NOT LIKE ME, BUT MAYBE I CAN CHANGE THAT IMPRESSION OF MYSELF AND NOT BE SO COCKY ABOUT THIS. I DID NOT MEAN TO MAKE THESE GOOD PEOPLE HERE AT YT UPSET, I FIGURED MAYBE THEY WOULD APPRECIATE A DEDICATED EFFORT TO BE A COMPETITIVE PULLER. HP DON'T MEAN NOTHING IN PULLING, IF YOU CAN,T PUT IT TOTHE GROUND, ALL THE HP WON'T DO A DIMES WORTH OF GOOD.

130. What a nice even number. From an H. And you are the only one that is smart enough to get that kind of power from an H. I hope you didn't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back. Don't let these other guys make you mad. It's your story, you can tell all the lies you want.

YOU KNOW I AM VERY PROUD OF MY H. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS ABOUT IT. IT IS A GOOD COMPETITIVE PULLING TRACTOR. IT STARTS EVERYTIME, HAS WATER IN THE BLOCK IT STAYS COOL. I GUESS I WAS EXCITED TO GET IT BACK TOGETHER AND WANTED TO SHARE IT HERE AT YT. GOOD NEWS TO ME AND MAYBE BAD NEWS TO OTHERS. I JUST WANT TO SAY IT HAS TAKEN ME 15 YEARS TO GET THIS FAR WITH THIS TRACTOR. IT WAS NOT BUILT OVERNIGHT. ALOT OF LATE NIGHTS WORKING ON IT, TRYING TO ALWAYS FIND MORE POWER. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVENT SEEN ONE DOES NOT MEAN THEY DON'T EXIST. NICE EVEN NUMBER? YOU DON'T HAVE TO BELIVE IT. I GUESS YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER, BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE IT DRINK!!

WANNA SEE BIG POWER? I WILL PUT MY "SOMETHING WILDER" ON THE DYNO, VIDEO TAPE IT, AND PUT IT ON THE WEB, AND WHEN I TAKE YOUR MONEY AT PRINCETON, I WILL GIVE YOU THE TAPE AS A SECOND PLACE TROPHY. NOW, WHAT PROOF DO YOU HAVE TO BACK UP YOUR CLAIM? Enough already, who cares how much power his tractor is making, I know I don't (neither does anyone who pulls light Div. IV or V classes w/the NATPA). Saying that you clean up in the USAP doesn't earn you much credit, especially when you're pulling against second rate competition. See you in Columbia.

now who's kidding who? Apperantly your dyno is off a few, or your running alcohol, and nitrous and maybe a steel crank or are you running a v8? IF YOU FIGURED HP PER CUBIC INCH, ON MY ENGINE IT IS 2.6 HP PER CU IN. IT HAS TAKEN ME A LONG TIME TO BUILD AND TUNE THIS ENGINE AND BY THE WAY, WHEN I PULL AT THE USAP, I AM TAKING IT ALL, I DON'T MEAN TO BRAG, IT THE TRUTH. LOOK AT THE HOOK MAGAZINE EVERY JANUARY ISSUE AND YOU WILL SEE MY NAME IN THE FIRST PLACE IN 3 CLASSES, FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS!

YES. YOUR FIGURES ARE CORRECT. BUT, I DO HAVE THAT MUCH POWER FROM MY H. IT HAS TAKEN YEARS OF TRIAL AND ERROR, AND THINGS FIANLLY CAME AROUND. I AM NOT A BIG MONEY OPERATION, I AM A FARMER CARRYING ON THE FAMILY TRADITION. I BUILT THIS ENGINE AND SOME SIMULAR TO IT, IT IS RELIABLE AND TRUE. I HAVE A GOOD TRACK RECORD, AND I AM NOT TRYING TO FOOL ANYONE. THERE ARE PROBABLY 15 TRACTORS IN THE EAST COAST THAT ARE H'S AND CLAIM TO BE BIGGER YET.

If your gonna try to brag about your tractor, at least try to make it sound have way realistic. 130 horse is ridiculas for an H, and pushing it for an M. Most people who visit this site know something about tractors so good luck tryin to fool someone.. if you have 130 horse hook up to a 6 bottom plow and send me the pic....

Ha!! An H wouldn't hold 130 horsepower unless you did something to the drive train and finals. I have seen an M pull with 95 horse and rip his tranny out, and that isn't popping the clutch either. Would somebody please post a picture of an H with over a 125 horse, or is it that you guys are just bull$%*##*#$ us???? Another thing, there is no H out there that can pull a 6 bottom plow, you may have the power, but ya don't have the rear end for it.

I wouldn't be affraid to put my money where my mouth is, because I know for a fact that even a hot rod M even has a hard time beating us, so whenever you want to go, just bring it on out on the track. I have one advantage than you in my area, we have easier pulling sleds, and we have people around that are not stupid enough to let these hot rods pull.

april left that post. she is my wife putting in her 2 cents worth.. as far as lying about power. let me ask you this.. since you know my tractor so much. have you seen it at the niatpa pulls lately? no! why? because i went big on the engine and i just finished it! i never told anyone what i was doing to it, no one ever asked. when we pulled at priceton with something wilder, we power stalled it completly, it cracked a sleeve, and cracked the block. i had to start over. i said to my self if i got to start over i am going to go bigger. yes my old engine was a 3-15-16 bore, 5 3-4 stroke. it was about 105 hp at 540, everyone knew that if you are familiar with it. anyway, i told john in the trailer, that things were going to be shaken up next week when this tractor come back. i don't care if you think i'm lying, most people who tell tractor pulling stories do a little. what the reality is that something wilder is alive again, and ready to go. I STILL CHALLENGE YOU TO COME DOWN TO OUR SHOP, AND SEE IT ON THE DYNO, IF YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING, YOU CAN SHOW ME SOMETHING I ALREADY KNOW. IF YOU WANT TO REMAIN ANNONOMUS, THATS FINE, I KNOW THAT I AM NOT A LIKED PERSON AT THE PULLS, BUT I AM NOT THERE TO MAKE FRIENDS I AM THERE TO DO THE BEST I CAN TO MAKE IT WIN, YOU KNOW I WILL IF YOU KNOW ME THE WAY YOU THINK YOU DO. I AM GOINGTO ENTER ALL THE CLASSES UP TO 5500 AT BREMEN. I WILL LET THE TRACTOR SPEAK FOR ITSELF. SO, WE AT STEININGER PULLING TEAM HOPE YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, IF NOT PROTEST IT LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO!!!!! ! LIKE I SAID COME ON DOWN, I LIKE TO SHOW OFF MY TRACTOR, YOU CAN EVEN LOOK IT OVER AT THE PULL THURSDAY, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TELL ME WHO YOU ARE IF YOU WANT, I AM BACKING UP WHAT I AM SAYING AND I AM SERIOUS AS A HEART ATTACK, THIS TRACTOR IS THAT STRONG! DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS ANY MORE, I OFFERED TO DYNO IT AND PUT IT ON VIDEO FOR ALL TO SEE BUT I GOT NO TAKERS JUST LIP. SO, IF YOU COME DOWN AND SEE IT, AND I PROVE YOU WRONG, WHAT CHA GONNA DO?

I HAVE NEVER BROKE A PTO YET. I AM NOT SAYING IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BREAK, I HAVE BROKEN TRANSMISSIONS BEFORE BUT NOT THE PTO. WE THE PEOPLE WITH THESE BIG HP H'S ARE FEW, UNDERESTIMATED, UNBELIVED, AND SECOND GUESSED ALL THE TIME! THESE GUYS ARE EASILY RILED UP, NO DIFFERENT THAN GOING TO A PULL AND GETTING PROTESTED FOR SOMETHING PETTY BECAUSE THEY GOT BEAT AND WE WON. EVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS? YOU KNOW, I'VE BEEN PULLING FOR 15 YEARS AND I HAVE COME UP WITH THIS,, ANY GIVEN TRACTOR, ON ANY GIVEN DAY, CAN BE BEAT, ON ANY GIVEN TRACK, BY ANY GIVEN TRACTOR, ON ANY GIVEN DAY. I HAVE LEARNED NOT TO GET ANGRY WHEN I LOSE, IT HAPPENS
SOMETIMES, THAT IS TRACTOR PULLING. I HAVE FUN WHERE EVER I GO. I AM CARRYING ON THE FAMILY TRADITION, MY GRANDPA PULLED BACK IN THE DAY, MY FATHER PULLED BACK IN DAY, NOW I AM PULLING INTO TOMMORROW, AND I HOPE MY CHILDREN PULL FOR THE FUTURE. MAYBE WHEN I AM MY GRANDPAS AGE, THE WORLD MIGHT SEE A NATURALLY ASPIRATED,STOCK BLOCK STLYED FARMALL H PULL 250 HP AT 540. WISH I HAD A TIME MACHINE TO SEE WHAT THAT WOULD BE LIKE, OOPS, WAIT A MINUTE, THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE THAT STRONG COMMING TO PRINCETON INDIANA THIS THANSGIVING TO TAKE ME BACK TO SCHOOL. SOUND LIKE FUN, BUT REMEMBER, WE ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN, BE SAFE, AND CROSS THE FULL PULL LINE, IF MY RECORD HOLDS UP, I'LL BE WAITING AT THE FULL PULL LINE TO COMPETE IN THE PULL OFF, GOD, I LIVE FOR THOSE MOMENTS. LOTS OF LUCK TO YOUR FRIEND WITH THE 110 HP H, I KNOW IT IS ONE TOUGH TRACTOR.

How do you read how much horse you got????? I know a guy with an M&W dyno and his only goes to 175 horse. Let me just let you know this, if you come up to Northern Indiana, you can bet your A$$ that you won't pull in our antique class! There are many people that run pulls up here, that listen to what people have and where they pull, so they can look out for people like you and not let them pull. Another thing, I would say in my own opinion, that an H is to good of a tractor to waste on that kind of pulling, but what you do is what you do.

Why would I want you at one of our pulls? Our pulls are strickly people who look, and pull like they are original. I wouldn't be affaid to pull against you if that is what you think, because if I couldn't, I know another guy that would walk all over you on the track, and he is only bored out and running on the walls.

WOW! Was raised on Dad and Grandad's H's. I now own Grandad's. Needs rebuilt. I did win the 4500# stock tractor class on June 29th in Wellington, Ohio though! We are only allowed 35 hp in this class. This year's 1st place makes it 3 in a row! Yup, '01, '02, and 2003. Won all 3 with my (gasp) ALLIS CHALMERS WD! Need to get that H built,,,, Don

Hey, WDs are great pulling tractors! I thought that hp limits were a thing of the past, but when you have to keep an absolute stock class stock, thats the way to go. Are you allowed to run aftermarket engine kits? Example, If you are pulling a WD, are you able to use a D-17? Why do I ask? Well if you can do that then upgrade to a SH or 350 engine kit and run a SH hp spec. It is the same series of tractor H-SH. WC-WD45,D-17. In our club we are allowed to run any engine that bolts right in without modifications to the frame or engine mounts. We also have a 3 mph speed limit, so it does not matter how may hp you got, just stay under the speed. Oh yeah, 1st gear only. I also pull a 54 SH in farm stock, been graced by the pulling gods this year with this tractor, 3 firsts and one 2nd place. Let me know if you have any questions about building a H or M "farm stocker" No "BS" just the facts.

Hi Chad! I am interested in the idea of a Farmall 350 engine setup for my Grandad's H. The stock motor is locked up, Dad let it set out in the elements for 20 years. I know the head needed work when it was parked. Please E-Mail me if you would, I've got some questions maybe you could help with. Thanks, Don
