I know, why would you want to,most people ask?I have several pulling tractors and am associated with the ins and outs of pulling.
My daddy always teases me about his N series tracors,he has one (8N)with a bad motor,I am thinking about building it.I am hoping someone has and might help me with at least the donts.
I thinking of max bore with pressed in dry sleeves and block fill.I havent been in one(8N)to know if there is any room for a bigger stroke,is there?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cmon some body has to pull one.

Turn down the crank, deck the head, new sleves & pistons, port & polish the intake, carb off a newer series 172, crank up the gov. Easly doubles the HP. You also need a step down trans. since you will be going around 4 mph. in low gear. Or you could replace the 28" tires with 24's.

Already to hop up. All you have to do is take vacume plug out of manifold, and put nitros injector in. Put straps on hood so it dont hit you when it blows.
