Well men I went to my first real pull yesterday and I had the greatest time of my life except for when I mule pack in the N.M. Mountains. I was told I would talk to a lot of very cordial men and I was told right. I asked a lot of questions and they were freely given to me. Krouthead, I looked for you and you wern't there, you were right I got to meet one of the nicest persons I have ever met, Hayne Mathews. Hayne, you will never know how much it ment to me for you to come and sit with me in the stands and answer al my questions and give me pointers and tell me about the other pullers and their tractors, God bless you and I hope to see you and talk to you a lot more. My 9 year old grandson went with me and when he say that 11 year old pullin he is now talking to me about fising up my 53 super C for him to pull. Who knows Paw paw may get to pull also. What a great bunch of men, I injoyed it greatly. Lloyd Powell

Hey Muleskinner,
Glad to hear you had a good time.I was up in the air where to go, I wanted to go to LA, but couldn't get it together, so went to a closer pull in MO, Fri. and came home to be with son Sat & Sun.
Hayne is a standup guy, aint he?Now you can get the red machine ready, right?
If any one knows how did the Widow do? He came home and told somebody messed with his throttle and he couldn't open fully.Anybody know the real deal?
Lots O Luck, Krout
