LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF TRACTOR PULLING:
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I'M SORRY IF I HAVE OFFENDED ANYONE WITH MY ARROGANCE. WITH "FIALLY DONE" POST I LEFT THE OTHER DAY. I RE READ IT ALL AND I WAS VERY DISRESECTFUL TO ALL OF YOU. I REALLY HOPE YOU ACCEPT MY APOLOGY. AS ONE PERSON SAID "IF YOU WEREN'T SO SELF ABSOREBED MAYBE PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO BE AROUND ME" WELL, I BELIVE HE KNOWS ME PERSONALLY, AND AN OUTSIDE LOOK AT MYSELF IS REALLY REFRESHING. MAYBE I CAN CHANGE THAT IMPRESSION, I DON'T KNOW, WE WILL SEE IN TIME. PLEASE BE SAFE IN OUR WIDELY GROWING SPORT, SOMETIMES TALKING ABOUT PULLING CAN BE MORE DAMAGING THAN PULLING ITSELF

I wouldn't let it worry me if I were you Chad. We have a couple of Hs down here in NC that pull 4th gear @ 2500 RPMS and are obviously making that kind of HP. Sounds like you did your homework on this one too. May be hard for some to believe but let's face it Lemmons, Shipman, and others have done things with these engines we would never have believed 10 or 15 years ago. Maybe when you show em they'll come away with a different point of view. Seeing is believing. Best of luck!

I want to see it here in michigan. we have a pull, evart(or maybe evert...) that pays 200 for first. we have a speed limit, somewheres around 3/4mph. its a 2 night pull, 1 night is "antique class" that is like 52 or 53 and older, and then the next morning we have a hp pull at baraton, so we could get a picture of it on the dyno, and then that night, we have the 2nd pull at evert, farm stock. the only catches is no cut tires or spun tires, and you have to jump a class....ex., you pull in 4500, you can't pull in the 5500, you have to pull in the 6500. email me and hope to see you there.

THANKS, I YOU ARE RIGHT I SHOULD HAVE NOT TRIED TO RAM THIS DOWN THEIR THROAT LIKE I DID. I MAY NOT KNOW ALL THE MATH IT TAKES TO BUILD A COMPLICATED ENGINE, I JUST KNOW WHAT WORKS FOR MY ENGINE, I KNOW THAT TRACTOR PULLING IS A SPORT OF EGO. WHO'S TRACTOR CAN BEAT ANOTHER. I AM NOT PUTTING DOWN ANY TRACTOR OR THE GOOD FOLKS BEHIND THEM, THAT WAS NOT MY INTENTION AT ALL. I AM A NOBODY NAME IN IN A NOBODY CARES WORLD. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DEUTZ TRACTOR IT IS A RARE ONE

Now that you've apologized, why not turn your Caps Lock off. All text in uppercase is the internet equivalent of yelling, and I think you're through with that..... .

I have to admit, your H would be a good puller, and I did get a little hot headed myself and therefor I will apologize too. I still wouldn't mind takin a look at it if it is at one of our pulls. If you come up in our area, I would imagine that they would let you pull exibition. We got a pull next Saturday, or July 5th up here in Orland Indiana, or look for the Riley pull up here in Auburn, Indiana, and support the Riley hospital. It sure does draw a large crowd. We don't have to many tractors that ever show up as hot-rods, if I may call you that, other than an 88 and a 460. Good Luck this year though!

Could you tell me the rules for the 6000 lb hot rod class that you have? Drawbar specs, rpm limit, weight bar specs tire size, etc. You know, I have pulled up in Fort Wayne,In a few years back, probably 1997 or 98. They had NIATPA antique on one track, and hot rods on the other with the "Challenger" sled. The antique pull had finished up early, and the hot rod track asked the antiques to pull with them on their side. So, me, and afew other members took them up on the offer. There was a few turbo charged Olivers there a Super 88 and a 77. i think their name was Daffon. the 88 cleaned up the heavier classes and I was in the 4500lb open against the 77, with my H, I out pulled the 77 by 10 feet and won the class! They were very good running Olivers, but I think they pull dead weight or on asphalt because their tires were on back wards. Is this where you pull is located for the Riley pull?

The Riley pull is located in Auburn during the month of August. If you pull exibition, I think you can do anything you want as long as you don't kill anybody or anything dangerous. We pull sleds called the Terminator sled and the Dew sled, which are nice sleds. If you have a tractor that can pull in the antique class, our sleds have digital speedominators to clock your speed. Most pulls have a 3-3.5 mph speed limit, and after three beeps, you are disqualified. Good luck!!

I have 2 other Hs besides Something wilder. one is a 54 super H set up for farm stock, stock hitch,10%over rpm un cut tires 15-5-38s it is about 43 hp. And I have a 50 H that is set up for modfied, 18 inch from center of rear axle, and 20 inches high, with all the safety equipment usually does well at 3.5 mph. it is about 70 hp. it does have a stroker crank, and big pistons. but it is not radical. I left a post under "Lost Engine" read that is the good luck I had this morning. i cant seal the head gasket for only about an hour then she pops. hey, i read what kind of tractors you have, sounds like a few good tractors, you otta come to Bremen In on thurs and come pull with us. we have farm stock and modified classes. farm stock has a hitch restriction to 28 in from the center of the rear axle(rule taken from a farmall drawbar) and 18 inches high, no wheelie bars required, 15-5-38max Modified classes are 18in from center of rear axle, 20 in high wheelie bars required. percentage, indoor pull. sign in is from 1-2:30 pull starts at three. light to heavy pulling order. it is $10 per hook for members and $12 per hook for non-members maybe we will see you there. LOL!!!
