Can anyone tell me the difference in 4210 and 4232 heads which ones are the best and why. Will be running on 403 engine. Also is the intake manifold from a 670 Y type better than the straight runner type that came on 403? thanks Rod

Yeah, the 4232 are much better as far as flow, but you may want to take a look at your compression. If it is too much, look for 4231 or 4230. I am in a similar situation. Oh yes, the Y manifold is a little better. Running them on all mine right now. There is a MM spacer to go between the carb and the manifold that can drop the carb lower to the governor if you are using tall blocks.
4232 run 10.6:1 compression on a 403. 4231 run 9.1:1. 4230 run 8.2:1. 4210 run 9.1:1 with round ports and a little less flow. Pick your octane and have fun!

4232's are higher compression than a 4210. 4232's would need race fuel on a a 403 unless you're running LP.

I believe a 4210 is round port and a 4232 is square port. depending on if you want to run regular gas, the 10's are better, but the 32's breathe(sp) better. the y runner is probably better, but I don't know for sure. check your rules and see if u can run 32 heads or the y manifold.
