Why would anyone want to pull a Ford? All they do is hold up the show and spin their little tires. Most can't start a lawn mower sled.

Wasn't the reference to pulling a FORD about an 8N? I am a FORD MAN, but even I have to laugh at the 8n bunch! SAD, SO SAD when they hook to the sled. In the 3-3500 range hardly ever see one even pull off with the sled. Then a little old JD M backs up there and takes off with it. Even the red tractors have little problem. I suppose the folks that had an 8N way back when were proud to get to sit and ride around the field and not smell their mules butt. Recon did the mule out work the 8n? Bet he did!

Just came from the Old Thrashers Reunion in Denton, NC. Saw 10 different Fords pulling in the 3200 stock class. All I can say is someone let the secret out. Say what you want. Those Fords sure look and pull good.

This character is just trying to rile you Ford pullers. He may or may not even have a tractor.

Is this your way of starting a war of words? I'm not a Ford man by any means but I have seen them hold their own many times.

Obviously, you have never seen Susie Bear pull her Ford. She does really well in Div IV & V in the light weight classes. Always a contender.

I pull against a Ford 600, and you can bet that he will take a trophie home every pull. I would bet that he has 50 trophies. Makes ya angry to see him take first place every time, but he is a nice guy, and easy to get along with. Don't underestimate those darn Fords though!!!

There is a man who pulls with a Ford diesel from around Shanksville,Pa. His last name is Emeigh. I believe it is a 6000. He has it hopped up and does it ever pull. I wonder why Ford did not use a version of this engine for their pick ups, instead of the International engines that they use.
