Its a little late to be asking those quesions now you should have had that figured out before you started how else would the crank grinder know what size to make the crank? You will have to measure the journal and use the proper size brg for the journal and you will probably have to shave the sides of the brgs as most strokers have larger than stock radius,s for more strength.

the crank was to be made for someone else that we were told was using u rods and bearings. the first time we put it together the brg were to tight and we were told to grind the brg which we did know i think the caps are to tight. we sent the rods there but nothing must have been done.if we mic the journel and have the caps and brg ground to that will we be ok. thanks

I always like to have plenty of side clearance on the rods about .020 the u rods would be about .125 wider than the g journals if memory serves me. One thing to do when having trouble like this is to fit the rods to the crank while it is out of the crank case it gives you a little better view of what is going on. Good luck
