I was wondering if there is a way to get about 400 or 500 more RPM on a M Farmall. The tractor goes down the track with plenty of power and then all of the sudden runs out of power and kills the engine. If I can get it to the looser dirt it does better because it allows the wheels to slip a little.

I was also wondering if there is a safe and easy way to get another 250 RPM out of a John Deere 60.

if you are pulling in low gear more rpm's won't help you because you will be going faster with more rpm's.

depends on the speed limit. The springs I offer can be set at stock rpms and still make a huge difference in the way the tractor responds during a pull on a Farmall tractor. Rpms help a little, depends on the limit you can run.

the strictest rules i have come across so far are stock tractors can't go faster than 4 mph And they want hand throttles so we cant put strings on the governors

put some wire or binder twine on the governor on the 60 and it will make it rap however hard you want it to, just don't go too far, for it can come unglued.

I have govenor springs that work well for farmall H-450. these springs will let you run up to 2600 rpm max, you could set the rpm for any speed you like. give instant throttle responce and low end power. Email me at hpuller@hotmail.com for more info
