will it matter if i lose power with it outshould i put it in? for my next pull i could move it in 10-12 inches help thanks pete

Peter, Are you powering out or spinning out? Is your front end lifting at all? As a general rule, the shorter the hitch, the more the weight of the sled is distributed to your rear axel. However, if you are spinning out, and cannot move weight from the front to the back of the tractor, a longer hitch will help redistribute some of the weight of the front onto the rear when you get into a heavy pull. This is the case with my JD G.
