I am in the process of building an A john deere of mine into an all open class tractor that ive been pullin in the farm class for 14 years. all that time the only set of tires that would do worth a dime are 16.9x38s but now since its goin to be and open class tractor i need smaller tires and i would cut them but they r to good to cut.and it never had pulled worth a crap with 15.5x38s.my cousin has a set of 13.6x38 goodyears with the 45 degree bar angle but they measure out to 14.9x38s and im wantin to cut them because he began to cut them but quit.he had them on his 88 oliver in the farm class and they led him to many 1st places, but now is runnin 15.5x38s in the open class. Hoping to get some opinions if they would do anygood. Thanks!!

i would run something that isn't straight bar (45). I don't know if you can build an open class A, but good luck trying. if your rules allow, I would use something 15.5 or bigger in 38", but thats just my prefferance.
