I have one of the 99 oliver/1100 massey/195gk crankshafts. It has 4-5/8 rod journals and is ground .010 under. Also have a head off of the same engine that is in excellent shape including the manifold. E-mail if interested.

Use a Oliver "99" or a Massey 1100 gas crank.
You can get up to a 4.625 just by off set.
Only 4 mains. Bolts right in. Some of the cranks are cross drilled. Both are Waukesha motors.
P.S. have some laying around if you need one.
Good Luck!

You have the option of offset grinding to get 4.250 assuming you can get a rod .125 shorter with a journal that is the right size.

The grinding should be cheap enough if you could get the rods. I believe you would find the 4 main stronger than the 7 main.

I know this is not what you were asking but it is an option.

I have heard that you can take one of those 195 or 1100 cranks and weld it up then turn it down to a 2 in rod journal and with a VAC Case rod, 1 5/8 stroke is possible? Does anyone know this for sure? I have some of these cranks and I am looking for a good combo. Thanks for any help.

I have seen .625 stroke added to a 1100 motor and a rod out of a COOP tractor. Not sure which pistons were use and I don't know if the deck height is the same as the 88.

A seven main crankshaft will fit into a four main crankcase. Just weld the oil hole closed on the unused mains.

Tap the hole and put a set screw in it using Locktite. Easier than trying to weld it and reversable to boot.
