whether extrude honing and abrasive flow maching are one and the same.If so, tell me some references where I can get more details about this

Extrude hone is expensive:$800 for intake exhaust on a four cylinder, solution would be to find a sandblasting shop and have then sand blast your manifolds.

I never though sandblasting would do much because the longset wearing tips for sandbasters are made out of cast iron-the same material the manifolds are made from.

web site extrudehone.com will give you info and prices. used to be more expensive prices have come down. some persons/engine builders think they can produce a better finish by hand. the acid test is before and after flow testing and dyno testing.
