I have a 1937 A john Deere and have it built up to about 55 horse power. I am pulling it in a stock it appearence class and have very little compition, what I would like to do it go into what my club calls an open class for non stock in appearence tractors. But I also want to keep in leagal for national rulls. I guess what my questions is, is it leagal to run Dual exhaust. I have only been to one national pull and am not very familar with the rulls for division 2.

next question is will dual exaust help me any or will it not allow enought back pressure to run to the maximume horse power?

NATPA rules say.. after stock manifold... USAP.. we have ran tractors with dual at some of their pull with no complaints... Our local club.. we can run the duals from Div III up.. JDGnut

The NATPA has a complete set of division-by-division rules posted at their website. I don't think the dual-exhaust would be legal in division two, as I believe you have to run the stock or stock-appearing manifold.
