I am pulling a Super M in stock and Div II. I have 15 X 38 tires and I have a choice between 15 inch rims with the tractor sitting a little lower or approx 14 inch rims with the tractor sitting higher. Is this a matter of personal preference or whether your on a hard clay track vs. softer track. Which rim is best? Also would 16.9 X 38 tires be to much for pulling a Super M that has not been enhanced?

I pulled 16.9's by 38's on my stock M with a super
M kit i pulled it in 5500 to 6600..in fist gear
she could handel them, we were also running stock
or below rpm's and an oil bath filter...i have ran
15.5's, 16.9's,and 14.9's... and of them three i
like the 14.9's the best

Thanks FB, We are new to pulling, my 54 Super M has 14.9 tires on it and my brother wanted us to try a nice pair of Firestone used 16.9's. I feel this tractor wants more weight then it wants bigger tires. I am going to stay with the 14.9 tires and try other things instead.

if those 16.9's are wore down really sharp they will beat the 14.9's...but i was talkin about new tires.....sorry...trial and error...try em and see wich YOU like best...all tractors hook different..but i am still partcial to 14.9's
