I have a power block on a 1941 A and on one piston has the top compression ring broken. I believe it is a chrome ring too. Anyone know where I can get another ring for it? If you have one for sale also I would greatly appreciate a reply soon. Thanks a million.

Luke, A 720 or 730 gas John Deere tractor used a 6" bore. They were a thin ring like the original power block A piston used and the top ring was chrome. Be sure to check the width when comparing but I know some of the rings will work as I have used them for this application. Good Luck Dave W.

Luke try Total Seal in Phoenix. I got rings for my power block from them. Phone # 1(800)874-2753.You'll need to give them the bore size and ring width as they won't have a listing for your specific application but just by size of your old ring. Mike

Here at home I pull in the lightweight div around 5000 pound, but I can also weight up heavier to make middle weights. I could pull heavys (8010#) but I would take a chance on breaking more than I would be winning so I don't do it. This coming pulling season I am going to get in the Ohio Antique Pulling Circuit and the told me I would still be division 2 I believe it was with just a power block and 15.5 tires. If you go with heisler heads, johnson manifolds, etc. you will more likely pull division 4.
