Where can I get a good high quality 7.5 stroked crank for an M or who does good work to make one also were can I get rods for this and is it possible to bore a stright M block to 4.25? building my own motor to pull open classes any info greatly appericated.

C&P machine in Fort Wayne Indiana does a super job on stroker cranks, Great service, and turn around. They have done all 3 of my H cranks, no complaints so far!!! ChadS

Yes you can bore a straight M block to 4.25".It may get a little thin at the bottom though,so just be careful!

saw a merfield crank at colombia, mo last spring. wenzig had it there i think. merfield laid bolts on the journal to get the welds out there quicker....very interesting?

PAUL WILL ONLY DO COMPLETE MOTORS . HE WILL GET THE HP OUT OF IT. STAN BLADES AT CUSTOM CRANK IN MISSOURI DID MY H CRANK 3YRS AGO NO PROBLEMS.

Sounds like you need to talk to the "cylinder doctor" in Manchester, Michigan. He can hook you up with awesome 7 1/4" cranks! Just an idea.
