Could anyone give me a parts list of what I will need to accomplish this task. Have a 320 available at right price, but would like to know exactly what I am getting into.
This engine has cast pan and big heavy back plate, need info on what back plate, clutch, bell housing etc. to use.
Can it be done without any fab work, and for those of you who have done it, was it worth it?

Drop the oil pan and use an 88 oil pan. Some fab work on the front and rear oil seals. You may have to mount the oil seal in the rear plate. The starter will be to close the the flywheel because the crank is differant from an 88 crank. Home made spacers take care of that. You will have to get rid of the 1100 water pump and use and 88 that has been modified.

Much eaiser to put the 320 head on an 88 block and go from there. The 1100 heads work very will with little modification for strong pulling.

I am sure i have forgotten some other details so good luck.

Was this engine used in anything other than 1100 Massey?
