Yes, I know a few folks who can regrind cams, Just need a cam and some info about the engine. As far as other options, The 154ci gas engine from a 203 IH combine is a good camshaft grind for the A-SC. Just my opinion, Hope this helps, ChadS

What I have is a Super A that I put 3 1/4 with a slight dome (Tisco Kit) and new valves and guides. A good rebuild. I went from 113Cid to 132 and had the head cut about 020. Its nothing really special but its fun and I was looking for a little more power to play with. Thanks for the info MM.

You could do a little carb work, might be good for lugging power. My nieghbor has a Super C thats pretty strong. I also have a 56 cub low boy, great mower!! How much compression does it have? ChadS

The carb I have is a Carter UT. At the moment I don't have the tractor at the house to check the compression but I have a 140 head (big valves and small chamber) on the bench waiting for a little work.
