Go to a good machine shop and let him guide you as far as the valves go.Yes the pistons run in the block without sleeves. Use your M carb with 806 complete rebuild kit to start. The head you want is a 450 LP if you can find it and can afford it,if not go with a 8060 casting #. Have said machine shop mill[do not mill a 450 head] .180 to .200 thousandths. Make sure the distributer is in good shape as far as bushings go and that the advance is functional, would be a good idea to have that worked on,new advance curve, more of it and a little sooner.RUN GOOD GAS as good as you can afford,Sunoco clear is good for the compression you'll have. Do away with the sediment bowl and installa 3/8" line and in line fuel filter. These are good starting points, remember SAFTY first. It has to steer and stop before you make it go!! And wheelie bars!!!
