Does anyone know how much a offset ket in the camshaft will help on a M and a W9? which way do you put the off set key in? It looks like a lot of work to put it in if it dont get much more power! Both m and w9 have highdome in them and will be for pulling. Thanks for any advice.

The offset key should be installed with the offset going in the direction of rotaion. This will advance the cam and that is supposed to give added low end power and torque. I have done this in street performance engines, and while it does increase the low end power a little, it also raises the octane requirement of the fuel. If you lower the timing to overcome detonation you loose most of the gains of the advanced cam. High octane fuel is definitely required but you should be running high ocatane fuel anyway.
