I see aftermarket piston/sleeve assys for Farmall Ms up to 4.310. Will the block stand that big of a bore? How big could you go without running a sleeve?

For what I have been told about the consistancy of the block that are out there for use pullers to build up into pulling motors, 4.25 is a very safe bore size to go with. We had three 450 blocks miked to run 4.31 and all of them would of been to thin of walled. Just my to cents, not shure on how extreme you want but look up in the archives under "FREE ADVISE". There are dirrections on how to build a good reliable motor. For what is worth if you are going to over bore a block and sleeve it just go with 4.875 pistons and get it over with.

In Div2 pulling there a lots of M's running 4.25b and 6.50 stroke you can run water in block no problem, after that OhioMPuller knows best, I've seen his black M pull.

I saw the black M at Paulding Ohio, I thought you put on a good show even though you got your butt reamed for trying to go around pole and not stopping at end of track. I pull a SM its got stock crank with lots of lp parts does very well in div2 and good in div3.
