What exactly are you talkin' about when you say "turn the pump up"? Water pump?

OK,
I was just kiddin,I believe this has a Buda 230 engine in it with a Bosch PSP pump (capable of about 140 stock/ cant do alot with these)But here ya go,looking at the pump there is a big plug in the back of the pump(3/4 or something)take this out and behind it there is a threaded rod with a "washer type" nut on it,it has a slot on each side.get a small screwdriver and turn it IN,how much is up to you! Go 2 turns and try it.Also the fuel delivery is limited through the governor so loosen the jamb nut on the back of pump(next to block)and tighten down spring(it will idle up)you may have to kill it in gear or run a kill cable to this same location(depending on how many Rs).When she gets to the sweet stack music you should see plenty of wonderful BLACK stuff!!Remember 2 things IF SHES NOT SMOKIN', YOUR JUST JOKIN' and..... you cant get parts easily for the Buda! They are tough though, anybody that seen my AC pull knows how the Orange Blossom was used!Email me if you need more help.I hope the 40 didnt have the 262,this used a Rossa Master pump.I dont know my Cockshuts that well.I know the 50s have a 273,I always wanted 1 of these with diesel. And 262 crank hehe.Good luck! Oh if your nervous about too much ,this is good!BUT; for reference only...I tuned my "magic screw" as far as possible and took the governor linkage out and installed a differnt spring! This will blaze a 18" stack!!Most rules dont allow this! Now I pull Deutzs and little mods are required.Good luck
Diesel Smoke makes me Horny!

PS I didnt get this from somebody elses post, someone did tell me how and now I will tell you.BUT,I scraped my own knuckles, like ChadS (I think)

Thanks, That will be a big help with my 570 super Cockshutt. It has the American Bosch pump. The 40 I am talking about has a pPerkins with a C.A.V. pump and I have never worked with one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stephen
