I have a 1949 Ford 8N that I would like to learn to pull with. Is it worth my time to pull it, or is the 8N not a good pulling tractor to get started on? I also have two young bucks I would love to get involved in pulling with me and Grandpa. Any suggestions on a good starting tractor for us?

I've done OK pulling with a Ford 960, but I've never seen an 8n do well. the lighter classes appear to be dominated by ACs and Farmalls

I've never seen the 8N pull well at all. Find
the boys a CA allis. These little tractors
for some reason have so much power for their
weight class, and alot of traction.
