MDM get rid of that factory hitch and build a solid one is the first step, they are like pulling with a wet noodle. You do have the fast transmission don't you?
I will email you with more from work tomarrow, no pics here at home.

Bob, I have counted the teeth on the sprockets yet, not sure what i have. what do you recomend? I have had the carb and mag and head redone, nothing to block and pistons yet.

MDM, you can tell the sproket size by taking out the fill plug and with a flashlite you can see what sprokets it has, if it looks like they are about to rub the cover its big (41 tooth) and there is a whole lot of dif between it and the small one, with one other size in between, hope this saves you pulling the cover.
What is the ser num? then I can tell if by chance you have the fast trans spider in it.
You are the right point now, I would really consider getting the compression up #1, and then hitch problem too, unless you are going to pull Div 1 sometime, then we can talk about a front weight bracket(a very simple one to build) as keeping the nose down is a big problem with D's Call Jerry Hindricks and ask about his HC alum pistons, I dont have his num here but it's in the Green Mag, also others in there too.
There is a couple other things you can do to, depending on the rules where you are going to pull, let me know and we'll get into that. Will Email you a pic that might encourage you some.
Best of Luck,
Bob
