I pulled a 60 a few years ago. Had no problem getting it to 5500 lbs. I recut the keyways on a set of Oliver 9 bolt hubs and put tin rims on it with 18.4's. Removed the 3pt and oil bath air cleaner. Thats about it. I left in the power steering & live pto. I'm sure you could get it lighter with more work...

I have a '53 60 w/man steering and was able to get it to around 4500 lbs by taking off: cast wheels, making custom hubs, removing pto housing, rockshafts and cyl., hyd pump, hyd valve, fuel tank, oil bath cleaner, fan shaft assy.(inst. elec fan), gen., rol-a-matic(went to a strait NF). This weight was with 14.9 firestones on pressed steel rims on rear. A "flat back only weighs 69 lbs with an Al. pto cover and no pto shaft. The stock rear cover gutted is still about 80-100 lbs heavier, due to internal plumbing.
