I have seen lots of US G like this.. I have never gone this way.. I have put the US block is styled G's.. You will be gaining compression.. If you were stroking it.. I would stick with the US block... Not much to change... cut down the push rods.. bend the oil line to the rocker cover.. shorten the linkage to the carb.. install a spacer for the air inlet.. or install your filter.. and add your flavor of High octane fuel.. Good luck

the person that I had called about the aluminum pistons said that I would have about 11.3 to 1 compresion, that would be with the bore .125 over. How much would stroking it help(I still want to pull in the "stock" class).what recomendations are there to get more power out of a very stock unstyled G (I have PUT ON A manifold from roberts carborater). any sugestions would be nice before I start the project.
