I HAVE A 1999&AHALF AUTOMATIC, 101K MILES,EXCELLENT PREFORMANCE. 50HP CHIP...X POWER,COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED...BUT; I HATE BUTS.....@ 1800RPM PURRS LIKE A KITTEN,64MPH BUT @ 1900RPM THE DRONE NOISE STARTES AND DRIVER YOU OUT OF THE TRUCK TURBO? THIS HAPPENS EMPTY..ANY GEAR;MOST OF MY DRIVING,UP SMALL HILL,UP BIG HILLS IN EVERY CONDITION. @ 70MPH YOU CAN NOT HERE THE RADIO OR HAVE A CONVERSATION...80IT COOL BUT THEN I TALKING TO A COP.

Sounds like a boost whislte,, Some one posted about the pipe guage,, (Thickness) Maybe it is too thin to control the whislte it has,, a heavy guage pipe may help,, less noise,, I don't know,, just a sugestion,, ChadS

Check out the web site listed below... But.. I'm not sure about the Ford.. but on the Dodge... if you have a straight exhaust.. or 4in straight.. some times at different rpms you get a drone... If you have changed the exhaust... look at installing a resonator.. or a small muffler... Sometimes using a thicker exhaust pipe.. usually they us 16 Ga.. try.. 14GA... Good Luck... JDGnut

boi here wat ya do take ya a lil elbow grease sum duk tape and w-4(aka w-9)crank and a case jack daniels and a prayer and a 1972 volkswagon superbeetle. now take the starter of your truck cuz it only thing worth a dang and throw it away. now take the beetle and park it where your truck usta be. duck tape the w-4 crank to the a/c and conect the bottem to the gas petal and then drink ya sum and put ya sum foot rests on the crank and move up and down and ya got ya a brand new petal voltswagon tractor puller
