on the 273 buda you can use a crank out of a d19 ac but you have to take the cam too as it is factory notched for the crank to swing

Talked to a few people who have done this and 47/8 was all they said could be had without turning down the journals,seems as if the cam being in the way is the biggest problem.

Is this on the 3 or 5 main bearing crankshaft? Mine is a 5 main bearing crankshaft. I want to do it right the first time. I pull in centeral MN.
