Tubular steel headers will reduce backpressure & maybe even help scavenge if tuned correctly.

I am going to tell you a few things that will help you out. If there are no rules about running propane injection into the intake manifold and put you an electric switch on it and a regulater if you wanna know more about it e-mail me some other things you can do is run you rossa master 45 head and take it to columbus diesel in columbus ohio and get it lazered out to 540 then put you a 4240 cam instead of that 4430 cam then get your head ported and polished and flowed that should make her run pretty good.

Extrude Hone is much cheaper than they used to be. They can flow more out of the head/intake/exhaust then any person can with a grinder.

Don't spread it around but the secret is more cubic inches, more rpm or both. Make sure you find a head that will flow enough. You can probably make more power with gas than diesel in a naturally asperated class. Like I said keep these secrets under your hat.

With a naturally asperated engine you can only go so far with pump and injector mods. I would work on the head get it to flow more air larger valves porting ect. Also work on your intake to make it flow more. a flow bench would be nice to see if you are making inprovments.

Dear Fellow Puller,

I am running into this same problem! I pull a 1951 G John Deere, and want to move up a class. We have a bunch of Olivers that run 88's. The have found out that an Oliver 1850 block will bolt right into a 88. Isnt that amazing, it would be nice if a 4010 block would bolt into my G :-)!! I tell ya, there hard to beat! I have dont so 3 times with my G. But, I want to run a 4010 against them....and show them the "true shade of green".

Please e-mail more anything that you find out!

I have heard of this company that used to advertise in the back of the hook. There title was "8th gear proven quality" I did not save the article, and I am kicking myself for not doing it. 8th gear, can you imagine that! In a farm class! WICKED!

Thanks for what info you might give me, Ryan Teach Gays Mills, WI

Wait til you find out what the Moline crowd is doing! You'll love it. Pull out a 400+ cubic inch engine and bolt in an engine that strats at 800 cubes and goes up from there. ;-)
