Are there alot of ways to soup up a Wd or WD-45? a WD-45 motor won't fit a WD, will it? I am thinking about getting several WDs(2 gas) and WD-45s(1 diesel, 2 gas, d is wf) if possible. If I get them I would like to soup one of the gassers up.

The WD-45 engine (gas) will fit any WD (gas). Put in an M&W 1/8 " over-size piston set in it-- the D-17 kit has the highest compression...

BEFORE YOU START-----Check the block, and have it welded---It will have a crack between the cylinders, at the bottom of the block--at the web between the sleeves... Cols. Col-Weld, Cols. Ohio does a beautiful job.... If there is ANY sign of moisture on the oil stick--I've never seen one that was not cracked. Have fun.. Ron.
