I'm looking for a John Deere G that's ready to pull. I've been looking, but nothing ever seems to come up. If anyone knows where I could find one that would be great. Let me know. Thanks

A 70 gas with more compression, blended valve bowls & oversize nail head intake valves is pretty tough in the 6500lb and 8000lb classes. A 70 with power block and stoke will walk right past a G with the same displacement.

Bryan I pulled the "G" twice last season,I've been distracted with a W-113 stationary engine and redoing a John Deere 4000,getting on in the sixty's and those 100 lb weights are getting heavier,if I don't sell it and don't get to old I'll get it out and stir up some dust,by the way it's good to talk to you,let us no if you get a new pit crew member later bryon GaRLAND

I seen one for sale in the Illinois Agri news a week or so ago. I think it was around the Hannibal Mo area.

I'm mostly looking for a unstyled tractor, styled would work too, to pull in 5500-7500, and I'm in Kansas

Try Dewayne Dille at 660-846-4020. He lives about 100 miles east of Kansas City. If he doesn't have one he may know where you can find one. Good luck.
