Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
In picture 3, looking at the chain from the tractor to the sled. Are you pulling from both sides of the sled to the drawbar?

Yes.. one this one sled they have at chain from both sides of the sled to the Hook that attaches to the draw bar.. I've never really noticed any difference in pullin either type of hook up.. but I like the single chain better, some times U can get slack in one side on the two chain set up.

Thanks for the come back. I have never seen that setup before. It might keep the sled from taking the rear of the tractor side ways with the weight box up on some sleds. I don't know how many of you have heard of the blue T Cap sled but that old girl goes the way you have it started after the weight box has any weight on the pan. It just don't turn. I have hooked to it in Fort Wayne Indiana a few years back and several times at Lagrange Indiana. I guess its out of Michigan. You have to remember where the holes are before you start the sled.

Great looking tractor. Just imagine if that black smoke was coming out of DUAL exhaust stacks. There is a guy on the Turbo Diesel Registery that calls his dual exhuast on his truck.. Cooling Towers

TractorNut) site there are a few guys that have dual stacks on their trucks.. I work with a guy (another TDR member.) that has dual stacks on this truck.. they look and sound great.. but hurts the use of the bed of the truck... later

How does the tractor with the motorgrader tires do? I looked at all your pics and couldn't see any results,as in tire squat, spinning, or ?. We have a case c with those tires and it just spins. are they cut?

The 70 Std with grader tires does good on a sandy type track. They are not cut. The 70 weighs about 9000 with no weights on, and usually will spin out. It just depends on the track. Gpower

GPower.. I should have known U were going to post the pics I took of your tractor.. at least there are some of me in there too.. lol.. on the G and on the 70D (in the nonweighted class.) The class that the R is pulling in, was an UNLIMITEDD weight class. Which means that you could pull with as much weight on the tractor as U could stack on. Well.. we didn't stack enough on to win.. but put on a good show with the front of the R standing on the back two for about 50ft.. The R finished about 4th out of 10-12.. not bad condsidering most of the tractors in the class weighted over 15,000lbs.. (about 3000lbs more than this R.) Including my 70D standard, that I pulled in this class too.. (weighed about 14,000, and finished next to last, lack of power for this class) The 70D standard, with the grader tires finished 3rd in the non weighted clas, and my G took second in its weighted class. The classes are divided into classes by factory HP, and weighted and non weighted.. This is about the only pull that we attend that is like this..(not exactly fair!)(usually pull the normal, weight classes.) Gpower.. getting read to go to Abilene.. going to be much nicer hauling the 5500lb G instead of a 9500+lb G.. Off to go pulling..

The class that the R pulls had 3 R's in the first 3 places.. the First place tractor weight about 16,000'bs... The class that I pulled the G in was won by an Oliver 88..
