If you intend to put the 12 port on the 88 block you will have to redrill the holes in the block. The patterns are very close, but not close enough. But many people have done this, works just fine. You have to fill the old holes first. Loctited stud in block, or something similar, just don't fill in the oiling bolt hole!! If you want more details, just say so, I'd be more than happy to give you any advice I can. Another (easier fix) is to get a 99 or 195 waukesha head, bolts right on, MUCH better flow!

770 puller, Wisconsin 88 is correct, (like him or hate him) You can put the 12 port on, but it will take a little machine work, the 99 heads are a direct bolt on fit, just need longer head bolts, pushrods, etc. I know where there is one of these heads for sale, if you are interested, email me at smokinac@yahoo.com and I'll give you the details. The 99 head flows better than the 12 port will, and the valves are bigger as well. The only thing that will outflow the 99 head is a 310 diesel head tapped for spark plugs. But you'll never be able to get away with that in a stock appearing kind of class. Let me know.

I was not apologizing to the bashers,, Iwas apologizing to the people who were not involved and had to read what I said,, I get cocky when I get a few beers in me and that is what I did,, ain't ashamed bout that,, but the others did deserve an apology.. We all are freinds here on this forum and we need to strive in maintaining that freindly commentary. Nothing wrong with a little ribbing,, or harmless fun,, right? But the way they did it was unacceptable. Let's keep it clean,, nothing wrong with disputing facts, we can calmly and rationally discuss all of the topics that are posted. Jusy my opinion,, ChadS

Its cool Chad, I don't want a beef with anyone, but the Greenweenie jumped me on a question a few pages back for no darn reason, preaching about tractors staying stock and blah blah blah, but yet I read his posts and He does the same stuff to his Deeres that others do to other tractors, I believe in practicing what you preach, there is no way I am going to pick at someone about something not stock, when what we pull is anything but! My Daddy taught me to stand for what you believe in, and don't back down. I don't go looking for trouble, but when it bashes me straight to my face, I'm going to answer it, and I won't back down. PS Merry Christmas to all, may it be a safe and happy one, "even you Greenweenie!"
