Not that I will build one that big but what is approxamatly the most CID built from a super 88 block?Would an 880 be a better choice of block?Seen some bad ones just didn't know round about what they were running on cubes and what kind of hp is capable out one of the bigger ones?

Hate to say it, but all of ya need to be scared. Herman Johnson is puting the stroker kit in the ole G. He is going to make Micheal Simmions sweat next year.

jack your just gonna have to get ya a 1800 or 1850 motor and hock the house:)Seems like i have heard of some that were up in the 500 or better range but I can't remember. What your gonna have to do is just strip that old S88 down and get in the light open classes so you can pull up in 3rd or 4th gear. And since you won't be needing that hydraulic unit any more or those cast wheels I'll be happy to take them off of our hands for you:) Actually we are thinking of going up to Il. this wekend to look at a1600 and a 1800 LP. If the y look good and the prices are right I will probably be selling this last 88 to help pay for it. Heh this is sad, normally you buy a tractor and accesorise it with implements. I got a disc and want to assecorise it with a tractor !!!! Oh well I have always been a little backwards at times.

Oh and if you dont' want to go up and get your G back to pull that Oliver we Might let you borrow the one out here !LOL!!!!

So far the 88 has had no problems getting around.I used the same dyno on both the G and S88 and the s88 was significantly higher hp.Whether or not it lugs as good is going to have to be seen.If Ken and the bunch just happened to be trying out thier sled I would be more than happy to let em drop the hook on the super ha ha ha but I'll bet they make me wait till pullin season.

Jack I would say something to Jeff about that 88 but he won't answer me. Did I beat his 88 at palmersville in the 5000? Is that why ?

hate to break it to you Ken but my wife pulled the list out and I won 5000 and 5500 at palmersville. And what is this I won't asnwer you?? Hehe is there email in my box from you?? nawwwww !! LOL!!!!

Seriously though I might have an 88 for sale soon. I am going to Il. to look at a 1600 and a 1800 and might need the money to help pay for it. This is the one I traded for a few months ago that has the power booster on it. ( Got ya worried now don't I Jack....) :)

Hey Ken if you wantot know who you pulled I think Lisa has the distances and stuff from most of the pulls this year.

Did you get him in the 5000,I didn't know who won that one.If Jeff is like me he probably don't want to pull against his old tractor cause he knows what it is.I sent my old one way off so I didn't have to look and pull against it.Then again he did say he wanted to make a strictly working plow tractor out of it.
