Just wondering if anyone has bored a 70 gas block to 6.125 and used standard model G pistons or what would the max over bore be for the 70.
Thanks Ole Joe

There are some previous posts here on this area. Can be done but the cylinder walls are getting skinny. Go with a aluminium piston and 6.5-8.0 to 1 compression to run on pump gas. Blend the valve bowls smooth, three angle valve job and all fuel valves machined to a nail head shape plus a cam from Roberts. Makes a stout machine.

Valve looks like a nail. Metal is removed from the back of the valve to make more room for airflow through the port. Valve has to be made of good stuff and spring pressures modest. Makes torque however.
