The axles on a Super 88 (I think the 880 is the same) are 2 7/8" in diameter. The earlier Fleetline tractors are 2 3/4" in diameter.

Good luck.

A pair from a 77 Oliver will work if I remember right, you do have to machine the hole,or the keyway a little bigger though.

Dave, The John Deere 50, 520/530, 2510,2520 and early 4030 used a 2 7/8" axle with a square keyway grove in the axle shaft. Dual hubs were available for these tractors but kind of hard to find. If you find a set of John Deere hubs for a larger axle size / model you can remove the wedges from the original cast wheel of one of these previously named models and use them in the factory dual hub as that part were all the same and wedges would interchange in it. Hope this helps. The only bad thing about a factory JD 9 bolt hub is they are very heavy. Good Luck Dave W.

Dave, Got to thinking some more about your question and it dawned on me that a 2010 uses a 2 7/8" axle and a light weight nine bolt hub. Not all 2010's had axle shafts just row crop models with that option but most with shafts around here had nine bolt wheels on them. These hubs are pretty light in weight compared to the dual hub that I referred to in the previous post. They look a lot like a Massey Harris 44 9 bolt hub. Go find a 2010 in the salvage yard and take a look. Good Luck Dave W.

Can I take the wedges out of my orginal 730 centers and put in the 2010 hubs so they will fit the 31/8 axel? thanks

The 4020 has a 3 3/8" axle diameter. The 3010 4010 and 3020 had a 3 1/8" axle diameter. The 2510/2520 and early 4030 had a 2 7/8" axle diameter. the later 4030's had 3 1/8" diameter axle.

Dave, Any idea of the JD model's 60, 620, and 630 axle diameters?

Eric, The 60, 620/630 also has the 3 1/8" Axle. Same as the 3020 and 4010 and later 4030. Dave W.
