What do you mean farm stock? Your 1256 is probably allready stock. But if you can get by with more I run a 1206 with a 390 head Roosa pump bigger lines 429 IH injectors ,3LM 466 switzer 3000rpm,Beefed up stock pressure plate ie. more springs.30lbs manifold pressure .Much more you will need water injection to cool it down.On the 3LM use the jd small patern turbo housing base bolts on your manifold with the spacer plate. If you want more use a 450 head roosa.

Thank you for the info,EJ. Now I have a couple more questions. What size lines should I run with the 429 injectors and 390 pump and will I automatically have 30 lbs. manifold pressure running 3000 rpms. with the 3LM turbo? Seems like I should run an intercooler with that kind of boost? BTW "farm stock" is a relative term in our neck of the woods, it's more like "run what you brung stock".
