Can the IH D361 block be bored out to accept 407 sleeves? If so can the 407 pistons be used with the 361 crankshaft and connecting rods?

You have two differnt strokes.361 is 4.5,407 is 4.625.Pistons have different pin heights .Just stroke the crank and put case 504 pistons in it and have a 466.

Thanks for the response and tell me more. This sounds very interesting. I was aware of the difference in the strokes and wondered if the pin heights would be different. What connecting rods and sleeves would you use with the Case pistons? Ron

Swi***zer (sp) is the stock bolt on. TO4 takes an adapter plate, but will keep the fire down when the plowing gets hard. Run 17#s compared to the stock 8 on 361. Pulled an 11 shank IH 55 chisel. The pump is a little bigger to.
