I pull a Farmall 200 w/a new set of Titan 11.2-36. I never seem to have enough traction even running 5-6 lb air. Short of removing my hyd., I can't do much more with weights. Would changing to 12.4-36 help? Some say the tallest thinnest tire is best, but I see most tractors with wide tires driving away w/blue ribbons. I do realize the track cond. has a lot to do with it, but I'd like to get closer to placing than I did this year.
Thank you for any input.

You would need more than luck if you installed 18.4 tires, you would need a miracle!! Go with the 12.4s and go to Firestone 23degree bar.I pull with Titans and won 1st 9 times this year, but I know the times I did not place I got beat by tires. Also try to move some weight to the rear or different hitch height, distance from rearend etc.

Erik: I've watched a few super c's\200's pull and a few would just about float the front off the ground. A lot depend on hitch setup too. Sorry I did not check rear tires for you. Try checking archives and contacting those with good results?
Good luck. R.

I would try to put on some 15 or 18.4's, just depends on how wide your rim is and what it can handle, or you could go alll out and install some 18.4 38's. Good Luck
