someone put a post on here about a allison for sale on ebay and I looked at it and it is in a tractor called BIGFOOT. Its a JD with maybe 30 or 40 series sheet metal. Do you have any pics of this or know anything about it

Larry, That looks like the old Leslie and Porter V-12 Allison puller out of Hugoton,Kansas. It was called Ag Air Inc and was a 55 MH rear and had a 4430 JD hood.Gary Porter was the driver and I used to see it ever year at the Kansas state fair pull.

They sold it in the early 80's and if I remember right it went to Texas.I'm looking at a 1980 Puller mag and in NTPA Region V it came in 9th place in the 9000 Mod class and 4th in the 12000 Unlimited class.A friend of mine Eugene Rodgers from Paola,KS was the Region V 9000 mod champ that year with a MH 55 V-12 Allison puller.I was talking to him last summer and he still has it in the shed.

Kansas used to have 25-30 modified pulling tractors and now they are down to just 2-3.

Chad, Most of my pictures are from the late 60's-early 70's before the Indy Super Pull started.I'll keep putting on old pictures for awhile longer. It will soon be farming time and then there wont be time for this.
