Just bought a 300, ta. live power, two point,belt pully,narrow frount gas. Will this tractor fit in a 4600# pulling class? How much will have to be removed?

Don't let Red Rider fool you if he is pulling that class he has a good stock tractor.

My International Harvester Data book says it has a shipping weight without fluids of 4700 #. Being as the 2 point and belt pully were options that would not be included in the 4700#. Shipping weight on Farmall tractors were with standard equipment only. Most pulling rules will not let you pull in a class below the factory shipping weight. I pull my 300 Farmall in the 5 to 6 thousand class and also in the 6 to 7 thousand and do very well.

Dear Red Rider; Thanks for the response about the 300 IH.for a pulling tractor. Would you tell me more about the way you have your tractor set up, anything would help. thanks. I have an H that I pull in 4600# classic,First year and do well until I get on hard track then power out.thanks agin BigRed.

I don't what the 300 will weigh but I'm think you have more tractor than you have motor.
