I believe the old Burnsmiester is coming from within. I posted similar to this early on and caught heck for it. Anyway I like the kind of pulling he is talking about, to me it is more fun than building a cast iron bank. As to the GB D we built it was typical GB with G1000 engine, run well but the rules let us out after 2 seasons. So I am back to pulling a stock machine never had the engine apart and having more fun. Don't care if I win or lose , I still get to play the game. Maybe I should travel up north to PA and run with Burns bunch. JT

Nice tractor JT. I love to hear those Jimmies sing. I might be able to find you a few hooks if you want to come up to Michigan.

Are the tires loaded with fluid? The reason I ask
is that you have front weight on and with the GM
Olivers the biggest problem they have in the light
classes is getting weight on the rear wheels, the
same problem I have with my MM GVI.

Gary,
Are the Oliver GM's really that heavy in the front? Or are they just too powerful for the amount of weight they have on the rear?

I had about 22 100lbs weights on the back. I think it weighed 12500 in the picture. JT

Hey Jt, what does that ol' girl weigh? I'd think that a person could really wind the rpms up on a rig like that. Year?

From your post below, I didn't think you were interested in the PA pulls? I'd like to see new iron at the pulls.

Weighs less than 8500. Has abountiful amount of power. Runs well up to 14000. Really a good ole tractor now after about 6000$ in repair, I was tha laborer. Don't really know what would happen between it and a 830 in a loaded to the gills class. Most of the other big guys no problem. JT.

While a Deere fan, a 75HP 820 weighted the same as the higher HP Oliver will have to travel slower. My $$$ is on the Oliver if properly tired & fore/aft ballast.

Nice looking old Oliver JT. What weight classes does it compete in? Greg H.
