I have a Farmall 400 that I'm in the process of building and was reading the previous notes about the M motors being bored to 4 & 7/8". My question is this getting into the water jacket and are you still using a sleeve? Also what do you use for a head gasket in this case? Thanks for any input.

You bore the block down in to the water jacket and then press in a sleeve to seal it off. The cylinders also have to be offset in the block to fit around the head bolt holes. It's a big job.

I HAVE FOUND ON THE BIG BORE FARMALLS IT IS BEST TO BRAZE IN THE BIG SLEEVES. THERE IS A FEW GOOD SHOPS DOING IT, IT IS A BIG JOB, IS NOT CHEAP.
